Craig and I took this picture when we first bought our house. This was our first home as a married couple. This was the home where we started to learn how to be married to each other… where our lives outwardly began as one. This was the home we brought Henry to from the hospital.
We truly did love living in this home and the memories we made here. We loved the character of the old home. We loved being so close to Aksarben, to parks, and the bike trails. It was so fun when we as a family would walk to the park or to a restaurant in Aksarben.
With us moving to Lincoln, though, it was time to put our house on the market. This week we sold our house! We had been praying that we would sell it, and God answered our prayers very quickly. We met with the couple who is purchasing our home, and they are in similar life situations that we were in when we first bought it. They are a lovely, faith-filled couple, and we are so grateful they will be the ones to live here.
Now we are house hunting in Lincoln. We are going to look at a few houses tomorrow. We are looking forward to finding a new home for the next chapter in our lives and the memories we will make there.
